FBA-EC Project at UNLV

An intervention to improve social-emotional skills and challenging behavior for young children in birth-to-three services.

Welcome

For FBA-EC, we are collaborating with birth-to-three services, also called Part C services, to improve access to social-emotional and challenging behavior interventions for young children with developmental delay and their families.

We have developed and are currently evaluating FBA-EC. This intervention is designed to support home-based early intervention professionals who work in birth-to-three services to implement social-emotional skills and challenging behavior interventions with their families.

  • We have developed online videos and a manual for early intervention professionals.
  • We are currently evaluating the feasibility and acceptability of the intervention.
  • We conducted two studies related to this project; the third and fourth study are underway.
